Happy Friday everyone!! Are you ready for the weekend ahead? Every Friday I am so ambitious (a little too ambitious) for the weekend ahead and make a BIG list of all the things I want/need to get done. However, most of the time I only get to about half of the things on the list. So this weekend I only put the 4 most important things on my to-do list…that’s right FOUR; hopefully it all gets done 🙂
On my list is grocery shopping & meal prep, Fall cleaning, clearing out the barn (because we are laying down the cement floor next weekend!), and finishing my book because self love needs to be prioritized too 🙂

Have you guys tried this gum? Not only are there no artificial sweeteners, dyes, or flavors, but it tastes great and the flavor lasts forever! Olive Oil for Dry Skin
Dry winter skin has already hit me here in New Hampshire! Just as I was about to put on some lotion, I realized I was all out. That’s when I reached for my olive oil. Have you tried this or coconut oil? It works so well! I might not go back to regular lotion. After I get out of the shower I put a few dabs in my hand and put all over my face and body. Talk about sealing in the moisture! This works better than any lotion I’ve ever had.
The Smell of Fresh Baked Cookies
Fresh baked cookies always seem to smell better in the fall. Maybe that’s because I take the summer off from baking, so when that Fall baking smell hits it’s so intense. Last night I made Ginger Molasses cookies and they were MMmmm perfect! and filled the whole house with the most delicious smell!
Mix all ingredients and bake @350 for 8-10min
makes 10 cookies (160cal, 12g fat, 12g Carbs, 2.5g Fiber, 3.5g protein per cookie)
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How cozy and inviting are fireplaces?! I love cuddling up on the couch with a good book in my hands, Jett in my lap, and the fireplace ripping right next to us. Most of the time I don’t make it much longer than 20 minutes before falling asleep; and I’m totally okay with that.
