And just like that it’s Friday again! After having a short week last week I figured this week would feel like it was moving along a bit slower, but nope! This week flew by for us and I’m still in disbelief that the weekend is already here.
This weekend will be my last prenatal yoga class, which really sets in the fact that this baby will be here very, very soon 🙂 Which puts a HUGE smile on my face because I can not wait to meet the little love bug that has been sharing womb space with me for the past 8 months.
Per Friday ritual, let’s jump right into Friday Favorites. For those of you who are new here, every Friday I share a list of things that are making me smile. I love hearing whats rocked your week, so let me know in the comments below!

I finally tackled the mess! I was debating whether or not to put this one on here because I forgot to take a before picture for you. But every time I opened my pantry door this week I felt like rainbows were shooting out from every corner. It feels so good to be organized!
If you like simple jewelry, like me, and have sensitive skin, like me, then you should check out these earrings from CecileStewartJewelry on Etsy. I am always so nervous to buy jewelry because I am so sensitive to metals, but reading all the super positive reviews and getting a sweet message from the seller saying that anything can be worked out, I felt a lot more secure in my purchase. And guess what, my ears love them! I think it helps too that I don’t have to constantly take them on and off. There is no hard backing (it’s a loop system back), so I can easily sleep with them in and since it’s a quality metal and simple design I shower with them in as well. #jackpotetsypurchase
These are the yellow gold filled and 8mm size.
The first 40 days is a book about the 4th trimester of pregnancy, an often overlooked and forgotten trimester, and one I had never heard of. The First Forty Days revives the lost art of caring for the mother after birth.
As modern mothers are pushed to prematurely “bounce back” after delivering their babies, and are often left alone to face the physical and emotional challenges of this new stage of their lives, the first forty days provide a lifeline—a source of connection, nourishment, and guidance. The book includes 60 simple recipes for healing (and lactation-boosting) meals, all formulated to support the unique needs of a new mother, advice on arranging a system of help during the postpartum period, navigating relationship challenges, and honoring the significance of pregnancy and birth.
Jett’s Summer Hair Cut
I love the days when Jett gets groomed. You know the saying, a dirty dog is a happy dog? Well, a clean dog is a happy dog owner 🙂 Especially when it’s tick season! With this short haircut it is so easy to see the ticks on him! Bonus points that it keeps him nice and cool and allows him to dry faster after a swim.
