It’s Friday and that means it’s time for my Friday Favorites! I have an extra pep in my step today because yesterday I had my follow up appointment with the OB to see how my c-section incision is healing and…..I have been officially given the green light on resuming activity! Of course I have to take it slow and still can’t do any kind of strength training or running until after 3 months, but being able to drive, do house chores, and walking have me all kinds of excited!
Every week I share a small list of some of my favorite things. I love hearing what some of your favorites from your week are too, so let me know in the comments below!
Updating My Photo Albums
What do you do with all the pictures in your phone? For years I was saving them in the cloud or on an external hard drive, but the problem with that was that I never looked back at them. And with all Miles’s incredible birth pictures I knew I would want to look at them more than once every 10 years. So I printed them. Then I printed all my pictures from last year, and the year before that. Turns out I haven’t printed pictures since 2010, so now, 800 prints later, I’m all caught up!
I love this brand of bubbly water, especially the lemon flavor! But this week Justin picked up a new flavor, strawberry, that is just as delicious. There is no artificial or “natural” flavoring (which is really just artificial flavoring with a mask on); just carbonated water, strawberry puree, and lime juice.
I have been flying through books these days! Whenever I get #naptrapped or #snacktrapped I just pick up a book and start reading. This week I have been reading and loving Parent Speak by Jennifer Lehr.
First Outing with Miles
Our first outing with Miles went great despite what it may look like. My Mom held a mini cookout at her house since my brother was in town. He lives in Colorado so anytime he comes out is a huge treat! I was pretty beat afterwards since this was the most commotion I’ve had since my c-section, but after a solid night’s sleep and taking it easy over the next couple days and I was back on track.
Question of the Day
What are you loving this week?
