Happy September guys! Fall is hands-down my favorite time of year, especially living here in NH! It is so beautiful with the leaves changing color, the air getting colder & crisper, and of course… pumpkin & cider flavored EVERYTHING! Like my delicious low carb pumpkin donuts.
For those of you who are new here, every Friday I round up some of my favorite things from the week and share them with you all. Sometimes its a recipe, a product, a podcast, or just a good feeling I had. I love hearing what’s making you smile so let me know in the comments below!
Miles is in that newborn phase where he never, and I mean NEVER, wants to be put down. But I still need to do stuff. …and everything happens a lot slower when you only have one free hand… or none. That’s why I LOVE that he loves this infant carrier. The trick is to put him in when he’s calm and sleepy – not fussy. He will peacefully sleep in here for hours. And when he wakes back up he just looks around then falls right back asleep.
First NFL Football Game (& football snacks)
I’ll be the first to say it, I like watching football games for the food & commercials. It really has little to do with the game or who’s playing who (sorry super fans!). And this weekend is the kickoff for us New Englanders! The Patriots are playing and I’ve pulled up my Low Carb Football Foods post to inspire my appetizer for the game!
A Killer Harvest by Paul Cleave
The Fall means spooky Fall reading for this gal! This is what’s on my nightstand now.
A new thriller about a blind teenager who receives a corneal donation and begins to see and feel memories from their previous owner — a homicide detective who was also his father. Joshua soon discovers a world darker than the one he has emerged from…
