Over the weekend you may have noticed a website redesign here at T1DLiving.com. Why a redesign? When I first started this blog in April 2015 it was to share recipes and healthy living tips (unrelated to T1D). Don’t ask me why I chose to ignore that big, beta cell-challenged, elephant in the room, but I did.
And as you might have guessed, I wasn’t happy. I was ignoring a part of me that I so badly wanted to talk about and I wasn’t in the community I so dearly want to be involved in. In September 2016 I decided to rebrand and change my direction. My previous blog, Where The Wild Stuff Grows, became T1D Living. All was fine and dandy except for one problem, my website didn’t fit my new brand.
This is my old site design. I didn’t hate it, but it didn’t fit T1D Living the way that it should.
If any of you have gone through a website redesign you know how difficult, and time consuming, it can be. But to give you, my readers, a better user experience makes it all worth it!
I am still making minor updates to the site, improving it a little more every day. I would love to sit down for a week with no interruptions and bang it out, but with a full time job and a Velcro dog I can only dedicated a couple hours every night.
I really hope you guys dig this new update. I think you’ll find it’s a lot easier to navigate.
I would love to know what you think of the redesign!
