I know it may seem like all I eat is smoothies (based on the sheer number of smoothie recipes and pictures I post of them – like this chocolate peanut butter one and this minty shamrock shake one – YUM! So good!), but I promise, I do eat solid food too.

Something about the summer time makes me crave fruit smoothies like it’s nobody’s business. So naturally, I listen to my cravings and indulge. However, being the low-carb paleo lady that I am, I make sure my smoothies aren’t loaded with sugar (real or artificial) and don’t contain dairy. This usually means downsizing from a full sized banana to a half banana + ¼ avocado, replacing cow’s milk with almond milk (or water), and just saying no to yogurt and oatmeal… and yes to peanut butter and collagen.

I got this strawberry smoothie idea from one of my favorite bloggers, Peanut Butter Fingers. I hope you love it as much as I’ve been loving it!
