Our engagement photos are here! At first I was pretty nervous and very stiff. My poses looked like I was trying to pose for school pictures, but it didn’t take long for me to loosen up.
One of the many reasons why I love this man.
Before I knew it, I felt so comfortable in front of the camera. Our photographer, was amazing too. I was able to act natural and be myself within no time, which always makes for the best pictures!
We knew we wanted to get puppy in some of the photos, but he was having a hard time sitting still with all the excitement, so we just rolled with it and took some action shots.
We had a blast shooting our engagement photos, and so did puppy. Now the hard part is choosing our favorite ones.
On a personal note, I had a pretty bad breakout on my chin and forehead during this shoot. I am still trying to figure out what is causing my adult acne, so once I figure it out I will let you guys know because I know some of you are suffering from the same issue. However, luckily I had some AMAZING makeup in my arsenal to help me out:
Face: Alima Pure concealer (tan) & matte foundation (neutral 5)
Eyes: Red Apple Lipstick Mascara (the lash project)
Lips: Red Apple Lipstick Lipstick (vogue)

Amazing photos.
About your adult acne. Watch where you touch your face with your phone or hands. That can clog your pores causing acne. Your shampoo could be the culprit on your forehead or a head band you may wear occasionally. Good luck.

That is one of my hardest bad habits to break – keeping my hands away from my face! I added some more zinc to my diet and am working on getting my vitamin A levels up which really seem to help. And I have been totally avoiding dairy which has been HUGE!
