Happy Friday! This week has been crazy restless for us, so I am welcoming the weekend with open arms! While we do have a family cookout for Mother’s Day, the rest of our weekend is plan-free, just the way I like my weekends to be!
Every Friday I share a list of things that are making me smile. It can be anything from snacks, to products, to even just feel good vibes. I love hearing what you’re loving on, so be sure to share in the comments below!
Let’s jump right in!
Friday Favorites

I love this IG post from the Weston A Price Foundation. They share so many great tips, memes, recipes, and information. If you’re on IG I highly recommend following them!
Bug Net Hat
It’s Mayfly season here in NH and our property is loaded with these little buggers. It’s pretty much impossible to go outside in the morning or evening and not get eaten alive (or have at least 3 fly into your mouth and eyes). Which is exactly why I bought this extremely fashionable hat.
I know I won’t be winning any fashion awards in this get-up, but my morning walks with Jett are so much more enjoyable when I’m not spending the entire time swatting Mayflies out of my face.
RRL Tea with Local Honey

I have been loading up on this pregnancy & labor herb because of its benefits for the uterus. Now that I’m in my third trimester I’ve been drinking 3 cups/day of this tea and adding in a bit of local honey to ward off seasonal allergies.
30 Weeks Pregnancy Bump
I am definitely walking a bit slower these days. Bump is the size of a cantaloupe, weighs about 3.5lbs and has added 19lbs to my frame. I love feeling his daily movements and how he responds when I tap on my belly or rub it in a certain area.
I got this dress from Target and I wish I got it in 6 more colors because I could seriously wear this thing everyday. It is so comfortable and has a thicker fabric so you can easily get away without a bra. …Is it just me, or are bras even more uncomfortable when you’re pregnant?!
Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth
This has been my nighttime read for the past week and I highly recommend it to all pregnant mama’s! Our culture is one of the only cultures that associates so much fear and pain with childbirth. Almost every other culture around the world looks at birth as a right of passage, and something so beautiful, and not to be feared.
This book takes the fear out of childbirth and shows you the beauty of it and how you can enjoy it – though don’t mistake that with ‘pain free’. This book talks about how although labor can be hard, it is nothing to be scared of, and that YOU my dear, are literally made to do this. Once you take the fear out of childbirth, you can see the beauty, strength, and empowerment that come from it.
