It’s Friday and I don’t know about you, but for me Friday’s are the official start to the weekend! And what better way to kick off the weekend than with a Friday Favorites post?!

Friday Favorites

Seventh Generation Samples

Seventh Generation Samples

I order Miles’s diapers via Amazon, and when we received the box I heard a weird rattling noise coming from inside, which made no sense because… well… diapers don’t rattle. Turns out it was these little samples! How cute are they? They have great graphics, made of cardboard/paper and NOT plastic, are the perfect size for a sample, and totally align with our diaper order. Don’t you love it when companies are intentional about their samples? I do!

IG Account: @nomoreshittybooks

no more shitty books instagram

I forget who recommended this account to me but I am SO glad they did! If it was you, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! They are a new account so they don’t have a bunch of recommendations yet, but every book I have read from their recommendation list has been incredible! If you’re a bookworm like me then give them a follow!

And doing an “emoji summary” … genius!

Miles’s bottom teeth coming in

Miless Teeth

Sleep regression, an increase in appetite, ear tugging, and more drool than I’ve ever seen in my life can only mean one thing… Miles is teething. These two bottom nuggets made their appearance last week and for some reason, despite how hard teething can be on baby (and mama) I was so excited to see these little guys coming in!

Front Facing Carrier

Front Carrier

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…. and again… and again… Newborns and Infants LOVE to be held! This can make even the most simple task extremely challenging. Try changing your insulin pump (which you THOUGHT you could do in your sleep at this point) with one hand and a squirming curious baby in the other. It’s nearly impossible. We have a couple of carriers, which Miles LOVED up until only recently because now he wants to face outwards (and not stare at my shirt – can you blame him?). That’s why this carrier is a godsend!

My mom got us this for Christmas and we’ve used it every single day since then. So, mom, since I know you’re reading this… THANK YOU (again!)

Everything Bagel Seasoning

eggs-with-ebs

Ummm… how am I only finding this seasoning now? Have you guys seen of/ heard of/ or tried this seasoning? I have been putting it on everything lately! My favorite right now being avocados with balsamic vinegar. MMm! MMm!

I’m celebrating the fact that every dinner I made this week was a hit with my family. Husband and my 5 year old asked for seconds every.single.night.

One thing that made me smile this week? I built two different K’NEX sets. One is a ferries wheel and the other is a Roller Coaster. That is the best $68.00 I have spent in some time. Hey a man needs his toys, and hobbies and, and , and 🙂

Oh hey once the baby gets teeth solid food is not far behind.
