Hello-hibernation

Hello Hello! I am still here! Sorry to go all dark on the blog for the past few weeks, but between not feeling so great and holiday craziness I have been down for the count! On the bright side, I am feeling better and back to some normalcy around here. Thank Goodness!

So what have we been up to? Well, we cut down our giant of a Christmas tree shortly after Thanksgiving. This 9ft beast is guzzling water like a high T1D. Despite having to become a contortionist to water this thing (note to self, next year, leave a longer trunk on the bottom of the tree), she sure is a beaut!

We also decorated the windows with dried oranges, which made the house smell SOOOOO good when they were baking. In case you want to do the same, I sliced the oranges super thin (no larger than 1/4″), and baked at 250F for 3 hours, flipping midway. Then string and hang!

Stay tuned on Thursday for my chocolate peppermint fat bomb recipe. I’ve been making them for all my holiday parties and everyone whos tried them has asked me for the recipe. So I knew I had to share it with all of you too!

Talk to you all Thursday <3
