Low carb bread is a God-sent for us type one’s. It can take a 40g carb meal down to 0g making meal time bolusing so much easier. And this one whips together in just 90 seconds!

You only need 4 ingredients and 90 seconds to make the easiest bread of your life.
Have I piqued your interest? Good! This bread is going to make your life so much easier! Not only does it have minimal ingredients, it’s super fast & easy to make, BUT, most importantly it only has 1.5g net carbs per serving! Compared that to regular bread which typically has anywhere from 30-40g carbs.
Speaking from my own T1D experience, the less carbs I have to bolus for the easier it is to stay in-range. Not that I use this bread to replace all my bread, all the time, for the rest of time but it’s handy when I’m looking for a low carb bread option or want something that’s fast to make.

Ingredient You'll Need
- ALMOND FLOUR or COCONUT FLOUR: This is the base of your low carb bread.
- BUTTER: Adds density & creaminess to an otherwise cloud-like bread.
- EGG: Holds everything together and adds protein & moisture to the bread.
- BAKING POWDER: For the rise.
The BEST Baking Dish
My favorite baking dish for this recipe is a 1-Cup Pyrex Glass Tupperware dish.
