
Something about March has me itching for greens. This raw low carb green smoothie has the perfect amount of bitter greens with just a touch of sweetness. Make sure to dice your celery before tossing in, other wise you’re going to be pulling those long celery hairs out of your mouth with every sip. Surprisingly the blender does NOTHING to chop them up, so it’s up to you!
I also think it’s important to mention that you’ll always get more nutrition out of your fruit & veggies if you cook them. Cooked veggies are also a lot more gentle on your gut, especially if you’re healing it. That being said, I love me some raw fruits & veggies in the spring & summer.

Low Carb Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1/2 Apple
- 1 Celery Stalk, Chopped
- 1/2 English Cucumber
- Small Handful Spinach
- 1 TBSP Fresh Cilantro (or Mint)
- 3 Ice Cubes
- Water
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients
- Enjoy!
