You know that feeling when life is pulling at you from a million different directions. Trying to figure out which “pull” has priority, what can wait and what can be done simultaneously… it’s a balancing act.
It’s like when your baby finally goes down for a nap and you just stand in the doorway for 20 minutes, looking out at the rest of your home, wondering what chore you’re going to tackle first, then 5 minutes into said chore you hear the coos of your baby waking up.
One of the reasons this blog went from 3 posts per week down to 1 post per week was because I became a mother. I needed…and wanted to put all of my energy into my newborn and husband. I wanted my energy there, and since I had to pull it from somewhere – I pulled it from my social media presence.
And to be honest, I loved it. Still do. You won’t see me writing a post that starts with, “Sorry I’ve been MIA” because I didn’t miss being MIA. Taking a break from Instagram, Facebook, and my blog was a digital detox that was long overdue.
But something has awoken me from my digital detox sluber.
SB276
With the passing of SB276 by the Govenor of California, medical freedom has been taken away from the citizens of CA.
…and when you take away a citizens medical freedom, in a free country, a civil rights movement breaks out.
