This burger salad recipe is a new favorite of ours! It’s a fibrous twist on a summer classic.
It’s great if you’re trying to limit bread or processes starches because it uses potatoes (in the form of fries – that you’re going to make) for the carbs.
This whole thing whips together in just 35 minutes!
Ingredients
This recipe has three main parts:
- Fries
- Salad
- Dressing
Fries
The homemade French fries consist of:
- Potatoes
- Coconut Oil
- Salt & Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Nutritional Yeast (optional, but adds GREAT flavor!)
Salad
- Lettuce
- Ground Beef (seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder)
- Any burger toppings you’d like! This recipe calls for tomatoes, bacon, red onion, and avocado (or guacamole).
Dressing
- Mayo
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Pickles
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
How To
The fries take the longest to cook, so start with those.
Once the fries are in the oven I like to make the burger meat so that it has some time to cool before I put it on the lettuce.
While the burger meat is cooking I put together the salad and make the dressing.
Once everything is done, put it all together and enjoy!
Flavor Boost
Anything you’d put on a burger can be added to this salad! Some ideas are:
- jalapeños
- banana peppers
- pickles
- egg (over easy or hard boiled)
- BBQ sauce
- toasted corn
- black beans
Now let’s cut to the reason why you’re here, the recipe!

I hope you LOVE this recipe as much as my family and I do! And have fun with it! Try sweet potatoes instead of russet, use hot relish instead of pickles. And if you can do dairy, throw some cheese on top!
